Besides the name, kids hated Rodimus Prime because he got Optimus killed and was a less one dimensional leader and most importantly had a lovely toy. Thankfully he knows how to bow out gracefully and leaves the show, Poochie like, to find a new planet when Cybertron gets blown up.
