It's this too, I will cherish the memories of the 2013 Seahawks, if only to use them to smother the memories of 2005 and 2014.
That year was absolutely electric. When I was at the SB party at my sister's house, before the game started we all thought the game would be close but that the Hawks would hopefully eke out a win. Then suddenly that snap that got past Peyton set the tone, and Percy Harvin's kickoff TD to begin the 2nd half absolutely slammed the door shut. I know that game was boring as gently caress for everyone else watching (and especially painful for Broncos fans) but man I've never cheered as loud and hard as I did that day

Ed: years of being a sad sports city (not counting the Sonics single championship) were washed away that day. Now we have multiple Sounders victories, the Storm have four Championships and are really drat good (and admittedly they got 2 Championships before the Hawks got theirs), the Mariners... well at least we made the playoffs this last year. and the Kraken are good after last year's nightmare
