I’ve been watching fairly religiously since the mid-90s when I was playing serious baseball and dreaming of playing at Clemson or Florida. The past few years have been really fantastic but I think this one tops them all. The Miss St year and Coastal eking out a title were super compelling TV too. College baseball is just a purer product than the pro game imo, even with all the changes. What I’m trying to say is that it’s all over now and I’m pretty sad about it.

Barring the two blowouts in the championship series, this year definitely had the highest density of amazing games in Omaha in recent memory. Now that it's over, though, I feel obligated to throw on my homer cap and post a couple highlights from 2021 cause we had some crazy games against UVA and UT. Will Bednar may not have the stuff Skenes does but he put on a fuckin clinic in Omaha that year.
