Ethel Cain's track "Ptoleamea". It's based on the last circle of hell in Dante's depiction of hell. It's towards the end of a concept album where a girl runs away from home (and the songs are small-town pop kind of stuff),and the album gets darker and darker. This track is where she's hallucinating on drugs, a long way from home, before she decays in an abandoned attic, is frozen, and then her murderer eats her. Normally artistic stretches (most concept albums) don't get me but by the time I got to this part, I was pretty rattled. A high point is where the devil is speaking to her and she says the word "stop" over and over until she shrieks STOP!!! and it turns into kind of a dark ambient dirge! https://youtu.be/-VmFiiDedU0
