Genuinely one of my favorite scenes in the entire series is when the killer subtly deflects blame for his wife attempting to kill himself, and Columbo loses it at him and lets him know he's going down.

finally finished this season after the really dire ep 4 and holy poo poo this show owns so much. missteps happen but everything else was pretty fuckin great. looking forward to s2!!
