It's not that this could only work as a Seinfeld parody, it's that they yanked out the Seinfeld and replaced it with, well nothing.

Did they get a C&D an hour before relaunch or something?

I took the octopath less travelered,

And it made one-eighth the difference.
The problem is NF consists just of AI talking to each other, while something like Unlimited steam is centered around a comedic premise, which helps keep things fresh.

NF is basically Seinfeld Without Seinfeld, keeping the banal conversations without any of the comedic moments that show was built around.

I agree and it's really intriguing. The "new restaurant" concept the AI was and still is hung up on worked with fake-Seinfeld characters, but not knockoff-Seinfeld characters. There wasn't any continuity before wherein afterward they'd discuss their visit to this restaurant but you could picture the characters there. It was, essentially, an infinite sitcom subplot premise machine. It still is, but it's taken away what would have been funny about them.

edit: vvv True. It's not unsalvageable, it just needs to become unique again which is totally possible.

They could give each of them weird quirks and personality flaws that are different. It feels workable just needs some polishing. I would have kicked the can another week or two I think they can pull up. But they now have a live product and angry viewers while working.

I would have launched with several sets if I couldn't get the talking interesting at least you'd have something to keep up hype while you fix the script. There's got to be a way to make them funny. "Leo loves cats but would never get a cat and always has a new reason he'd never own one" there something to bounce off in 2 minutes if nothing forever is reading you can come up with better than cats. I know they are aware of this thread.

A tangled skein of bad opinions, the hottest takes, and the the world's most misinformed nonsense. Do not engage with me, it's useless, and better yet, put me on ignore.
The Seinfeld thing was the first and only time I've ever engaged in a chat screed. It's one of the few times I've ever watched a stream of anything, really. These things aren't normally of much interest to me, but the Seinfeld thing brought me in. It brought us together. We were experiencing something, all at once, all together, but alas

(edit): I guess not "sports channel" anymore, they've rebranded it as general debating, which it basically always was)

If you want to talk on Twitch join the discord is usually the way to go, chat is for scrolling emotes unless it's a small channel that can't have a mod in discord and a mod in chat at the same time and then chat isn't scrolling anyway

Biggest problem with it now is that they seem to switch topics too quickly. The scenes are longer, but they'll use two to four prompts in one of them. Only the blog posts come up with non-sequitur jokes. The conversation makes more sense, but it leads it all to be more of a show about nothing, but not in a funny way. As much as it was its reputation, Seinfeld wasn't really a show about nothing.

After watching 15 minutes of the Spongebob one, there were three separate stories where Spongebob was pregnant, one where Spongebob declares he's gay and asks Patrick if he wants to experiment, and one where Squidward is depressed because Mrs. Puff is dead.

Definitely has potential, and certainly has some chaos factor going for it. Seems to be improving quickly as well according to the chat.

This channel is really really cool. I clicked the latest vod and was a little shocked at how well it mimicks some NPR show or podcast where they take viewer questions. Tons of little details in editing/streaming tools to give it the production values of a real show, like the crosstalk and echo/reverb. Just the fact that they blink is dope considering that too is AI determined.

edit: A little thing I noticed from watching it for a while is the characters seem apprehensive about what they're saying, intentionally so. They use words like "Apparently" and phrases like "I've heard that" before stating things that are often factual anyway. Unsure if you can train the AI on something like that, but if so it's great way to cover your rear end while again making the show seem real.

I've been occasionally watching

https://twitch.tv/alwaysbreaktime

Which is an AI generated slice of life high school anime. It's very Nothing Forever in terms of talking about very ordinary events but it's surprisingly lively with multiple locations (such as walking through the school corridors with NPC's bumping into the actors).

There was a bit earlier though when the crew were coming up with nicknames and the guy named himself "The Extreme Gamer" and then wanted to get some Doritos which made me think did the creator insert this as a product placement or is it just proof of the AI recognizing patterns. (He's also quite obsessed into being a legendary warrior in disguise and defeating evil forces for some reason)
