The All Star weekend is here and I'm ready to poo poo post about it. I can't believe they don't wear helmets for the fastest skater. I know they have the padding up but it'd be easy as gently caress to get concussed there even with the padding there.

I mean it’s obviously dumb to make it a one-and-done for this exact reason, NHLers screw up shootout attempts in actual games when it matters let alone dumb gimmick shots after they’ve had a few, but also once again Marner fails to deliver who is surprised

Meant to post in this thread about how Hillary Knight is awesome. This event is pretty cool, actually. Goalies trying to score goals is pretty funny. Edit: the concept is cool but it’s been kinda lovely.

This venue reminds me of the one used for a roller hockey game that I randomly found on an old VHS after a NASCAR race a few years ago. We need a new set of events. ELBOWS UP!- Each team gets to send a player out to run Tom Wilson. Hardest hit wins! SHOOT THE poo poo(HEAD)- Brad Marchand stands at the other end of the ice tied to the posts Milhouse style and tries to catch one-timers with his face!
