Clementine's search for supplies continues in a house full of people who still think that she's locked up.

We have another vote: https://strawpoll.com/B2ZBE5VbzgJ. Voting ends in 72 hours.

Yeah, that section was... sure something. That was a bit of a dive into the torture porn and gore side of the horror genre that the game didn't really get anything out of. Glad to hear others seem to share that opinion because I've never been big on that type of movie.

At least she had her juice.

Clementine finally has a meal and a bed for the night despite the drama that unfolded beforehand. She's even been invited by Pete to go on a morning walk to fetch breakfast for the household. It seems like her luck has really turned a corner lately!

The voting is over and Nick won by one vote. This video only contains about forty seconds of gameplay before the trailer and credits start to play. I'm posting the stats outright as there isn't anything in them that will spoil anything.

"Did you choose to save Pete or nick?"

Game, Clem ran to Nick, dodged some zombies along the way, and then reached him as he saved himself without any interaction from her. Normally, the game has been a lot better than this at these trolley problem scenarios, which just makes this one stick out more.

And the episode 2 teaser shows pretty clearly that yes, the intent here is that Clem chose to save one of them.

Episode Two - A House Divided

This episode follows directly on from the previous episode. The commentary in this video is fairly minimal due to there not being a whole lot of respite, there's a lot of dialogue as a plot device is in full effect about halfway through. There is no vote at the end of this video as I thought that I'd end this segment naturally.

This is probably the bluntest resolution to a decision that we've had so far. They should have held the resolution to either scenario at the end of the previous episode and started this one inside the shed.

Being real here, she was never going to keep him out because she, as much as the game says otherwise, is a young teen and he was a grown man who already seemed to have knowledge of the place.

I've been debating on how to proceed with this episode and I've ended up making a couple of executive decisions. I could have ended the last video making a tough choice, which would have only been an extra thirty seconds but it's another one of those "tough" choices. Spoiler: [spoiler]It was about whether to take responsibility for the photo or to drop Sarah in it and I decided to make the choice for a few reasons. I wanted to pay Sarah back and it wasn't exactly a tough choice to make, I like to think that I have a feeling of how these votes are going to go and they've been pretty consistent with going down the nicer pathways). I also felt like there was a natural cut-off in the previous video.

I was also debating on how to proceed with this video as well. I didn't know whether to record this in two separate updates or as one, so I decided in the end to record one long video and make the cut-off point where I did. There has been a lot of stop and starts throughout this playthrough so far and I'm trying to figure out a way to make things flow better. Would everyone be okay if I made the "tough" decisions to keep things flowing and put up a vote for the important situations, or would you prefer to vote on every tough decision regardless?

Anyway, time for this update. The group return from their hunt for Nick and face the revelation that they've been found. A lot happens in this video and it ends with another vote: https://strawpoll.com/PKgl3d2qJnp

I had some free time this morning so I decided to record this update before the voting ended. Hugging Kenny was already the clear winner and I didn't see that changing within the last couple of hours of voting. Clem and Kenny are now reunited, but will it be long-lasting and a happy one?

Voting ends in 72 hours. It'sot the toughest choice but it will have an impact on some relationships: https://strawpoll.com/e7ZJGL77By3

I've looked through everyone from the first game and there really were only two from the group that we didn't actually see die.

I don't believe that the choice in this vote effects things too much, but it will be noticed either way. This is my primary issue with the walking dead games from S2 onwards, the game acts like Clementine is an adult and not a perpetually overwhelmed young teenager, I'm not saying to baby her or anything, Charles back in S1 pointed out the problem with that but having grown rear end adults throw a fit if the teenager doesn't do what they want is stupid.

Ok, so to sum up the current situation:
Clem saw lights, the people with them probably saw the christmas lights and chimney smoke up top.
Nick shot a guy, and then funny that, the guy had a can with the exact same design as these fine people atop the mountain. Also, they're missing a guy who will totally be back soon.
Kenny is still unhinged beneath the surface.

This is the ending to "A House Divided" and it's another video without commentary as the footage is only four minutes long and there aren't any breaks throughout. The rest of this video is the preview for the next episode, the statistics screen and the end credits. I'll post the statistics screen here as there isn't anything to spoil. I didn't feel like there was any point in stopping the game for the "Honesty" vote as it was straight after the "Loyalty" vote and I made the decision in the manner in which we've been consistent throughout the game so far.

We only had a brief time getting to know Bonnie and from what little we know of her I can understand that she's wanting to fit into this group in any way that she can. I don't think that she's necessarily evil but we can clearly see that she's willing to follow orders even if it means that people are going to get hurt.

I'm glad that I wasn't the only one to see this connection. I was thinking about making a comment during recording but it's hard to find time to talk as there's a lot less downtime in this series so far.

Kenny was pretty similar in the last game and he usually ended up getting his own way. There were a few times he acted out of impulse, one of those times was when he murdered Larry.

At least this time he's surrounded by strong individuals who aren't afraid to put him in his place.

I'm not a big fan of the murdering everyone in the camp as they're not all going to be like Carver and Troy. I wouldn't be big fans of these people even if they are "just following orders" but there is a zombie apocalypse on the other side of the walls.

A short episode, one that could have been part of the previous update if I had planned things better but I thought that this section was going to be longer. There was a little more dialogue between Tavia and the unnamed guard but not much, I didn't realise that picking up the radios would cut their talking off so suddenly.

:siren: GORE WARNING! I know that there's plenty of bloodshed in this game but there's a scene in this video which some people may find disturbing. If you want to avoid a pretty brutal scene you may want to skip from 18:00 to 18:58. :siren:

This is the final video of this episode and it's a long one. I've decided that I'm definitely going to plough through some of the minor decisions in an effort to keep the game flowing. This video also contains the final three major decisions. The third choice is irrelevant as the same situation happens regardless, but I guess it will be remembered. The fourth one is entirely optional and this is probably one of the ones that needed the vote instead of the one with Bonnie. The fifth one is the final action of the game and happens right before the credits start rolling.

It's the fourth action which is where the brutality happens and those scenes could have been avoided entirely. Again, this probably should have gone to a vote as it's something that's going to affect Clementine's relationship with some of the group members. I didn't choose this to show off the gore. I don't know if I can explain it properly, it just felt more fitting.
