On Witch Queen release day I made the responsible choice: worked a full day (despite a coworker taking a conspicuous day off to play D2 all day), had dinner with my family, helped get the kids to bed. I started on the new campaign that evening and ended up crafting my Enigma around 5 minutes after midnight which meant that it was forever tarnished with a 2022-02-03 crafting date instead of 2022-02-02 and missing the release day timestamp by minutes has haunted me ever since. Luckily Lightfall is releasing on a numerically insignificant date so I won’t repeat the mistakes of my past! I burned out somewhere between Plunder and the final WQ season but not before preordering Lightfall so I am already all-in on the new expansion.
