Movies that you enjoyed, found meaningful, or otherwise thought had value that you never plan to watch a second time; what are they? For me, it's The Act of Killing. One of the best treatments I've seen of the Indonesian genocide/political purge, but I really, really don't ever intend to watch it again.

Superbad. I enjoyed it very much when it came out because I was 20. I tried watching it about 4 years ago and I turned it off within 5 minutes, unwatchable and thoroughly irritating. e: I just skipped to the end to see the cock drawing montage

Ari Aster has been great at this cuz Hereditary and Midsommar are both excellent movies that fit that bill really well Though I did see Midsommar a second time and it didn't do much to quell that feeling

Irreversible. Wouldn't say I enjoyed it, but it's definitely a powerful movie. Way too hosed up to watch again. El topo and Apocalypse now Good movies but gently caress animal cruelty.
