Soundcloud tossed this track at me and I can't get enough of it. Apparently it's a genre the youngsters are calling "Dariacore". I watched the original Daria show so I guess I'm still cool, how do you do fellow kids: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7wl2z8rPZM The formula seems to be sampling then up-pitching vocalists (Lady Gaga in this case), reusing some goofy sound effects, memes and what have you. Somehow it's more than the sum of it's parts. Also reinforces my theory that Finnish people literally cannot make bad music.

Pantera the band rules but Pantera, the people, not great. I’d be a bigger fan than if they didn’t do the whole stars and bars thing but this is reality now and so, I act accordingly. I mean I listen to metal so this is kind of just the norm for older bands - thankfully more contemporary bands have two goddamn brain cells to rub together (for the most part, there are still bigots).
