That story is all kinds of a mess and I really wonder what version or details of it they're gonna cover. Sanitizing it is the coward's move but that's what I definitely suspect comes of anything shy of a miniseries.

It's hard to identify where exactly it goes from "I understand something's not right with me, I know I'm going to have to be done working soon but I want to get much in while I can to support myself and my family" to exploiting someone but I feel like if you're able to act you're probably aware enough to make that decision for yourself.

I thought the comics ended with the apocalypse and we get a glimpse of the life that will continue past the human race, then every story and mini-series that came out after were just flashback stories since they couldn't reset Ragnarok.
