i have also had it for pretty much my whole life. i had a series of ear infections as a kid that had the doctors concerned at the time, so i bet that's what did it. i didn't realize for a long time that silence actually sounds like silence for some people! mine's pretty minor, so i haven't tried to do anything with it. i only notice it in quiet situations. i am very careful with earpro, and have been for my whole life. i even wear earplugs on the freeway! there, now this post is AI related. i am somewhat interested in seeing what this thread turns up, though. maybe there's some weird trick doctors hate???
