Those smoke generator test rigs really are a good way to diagnose the air leaks. Remember that you have 8 ancient throttles, one or more could be leaking around the butterfly, shaft, or even last the shaft externally.

I had a bad pull-up/pulldown or filtering on my second injector channel on my original MS1V3 and it'd do that same thing. It'd oscillate and sometimes "latch."

I did replace all of the parts and it went away, but just wiring to run the first channel in batch fire got me around for years.

I use a Tesa style tape for main harness runs, I actually have a few widths from Wish and like them a lot better than split loom. Light adhesive and fabric, plus holds shape better than electrical tape. I then use expandable sleeve aka "cable management sleeve" to each pigtail for sensor/output.

Edit: then the sleeves get adhesive lined shrink under the Tesa tape and at the connector so they stay nice looking.
