Smile. Win. Yay!

Only a month out until the massive Judgement card and things are taking shape, there are six matches set and that's not even taking into account the titles being contested on today's show. Yukio Naya has much improved since his time in Team Failson and he's up against his greatest challenge yet as he faces off against former ace HARASHIMA, who is no less crafty or punishing with his kicks in his advanced age. The winner of the match will face Hino for the KO-D Title at Judgement and no doubt be chopped into a fine paste by the champ. ShunMAO managed to slither their way past Takagi and Abe in a Burlesque Death match, but now they have to contend against MMA badass Yukio Sakaguchi and kickboxing badass Hikaru Machida, and 37KAMIINA weren't able to get hardcore rules added to the match to even the playing field.

Today we'll see the finals of the D-Generations Cup with Burning's Yuya Koroku taking on the supernova Takeshi Masada, with the winner gaining an invitation to DDT's American show at the end of March. Both semi finals matches were certified bangers and between the two there's just over 2 years of experience so they'll no doubt go all out to impress. Kip Sabian's Japanese adventure continues as he faces off against Omega's Yuji Hino and Makoto Oishi, as well as the DDT Universal Champion Naruki Doi. In his debut last week Sabian picked up the win and his valet Penelope Ford won the Heavymetalweight Title off an unsuspecting Saki Akai, we'll see how much of that momentum carries over against the beefiest man in the game.

Also the KO-D 10-Man Championships are still yet to be defended, having been won by 37K and Aoki back in June

Promo translations and assorted gifs will be on the DDT English Twitter page

Tokyo Korakuen Hall
26/2/2023, Sunday
11:30am JST/1:30pm AEST/2:30am GMT/9:30pm EST/6:30pm PST

Stream is scheduled to start 45 minutes before this and will include the two preshow matches

0. MJ Paul & KANON Vs Masahiro Takanashi & Antonio Honda
0. 4 Way Tag Match: Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno Vs Toru Owashi & Gota Ihashi Vs Saki Akai & Kazuki Hirata Vs Sanshiro Takagi & Fuminori Abe
1. D GENERATIONS CUP 6-Man Tag Match: Hideki Okatani, Yuki Ishida & Ilusion Vs Keigo Nakamura, Toi Kojima & Kazuma Sumi
2. Special Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi & Shishamo Power Vs Jun Akiyama & Unagi Mask
3. International Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuji Hino, Naruki Doi & Makoto Oishi Vs Kip Sabian (w/ Penelope Ford), Chris Brookes & Hagane Shinno
4. D GENERATIONS CUP – Final: Yuya Koroku Vs Takeshi Masada
5. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Tetsuya Endo, Kotaro Suzuki & Yusuke Okada (c) Vs Shinya Aoki, Yuki Ueno & Super Sasadango Machine
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: 37KAMIINA (MAO & Shunma Katsumata) (c) Vs Yukio Sakaguchi & Hikaru Machida
7. KO-D Openweight Title Next Challenger Decision Match: HARASHIMA Vs Yukio Naya

It is approaching two years since HARASHIMA last fought for the KO-D Openweight Title. The physical belt has changed since then and he would like to hold the new design at least once. He says he is in good enough shape to continue challenging for the championship. He also has a plan in mind to beat Yukio Naya despite having the size disadvantage. Basically big guys like Naya don’t like getting kicked in the face a lot.

5 hour judgement sounds pretty daunting, but Peter Pan has gone 4+ in the blink of an eye before so confident they'll keep the energy high. Hopefully will get close to a sell out
