They have both long-surpassed Meyers's prior record of 7.5 years for longest-tenured anchor. Seeing the Update from '15 a few hours earlier shows how little things have changed in eight years. I see signs of change here and there, but I'm waiting for Lorne to retire for things to really shake up.
