I collect lots of different things. Probably my most unusual collection is my collection of "Highly Radioactive Stuff". Anything from radioactive ores to material samples and such. Great stuff.

I considered buying that Sharknado Funko posted earlier but resellers want like 60 bucks for it so no I'm not doing it. It's not so much the price as it is gently caress you reseller parasite. Besides I already have enough non funko pop figurines and poo poo put away.

Funko Pops are just soulless figures that you just buy and display on your shelf. GunPla, that's short for Gundam Plastic Models, are completely different. You get a box with endless possibilities and you then proceed to build with your own hands. You put your own time and effort into building the greatest creation known to mankind. Every customization you do is unique to you. It's not the same with Funkos.

I like stuff like Lego Technik and things that you program and they're mechanised, those are cool, but I gotta be The Lego Curmudgeon and say the pervasiveness of specific model kits is just kind of a bummer compared to having a big bucket of Lego and just being encouraged to make whatever you want Like I know it's a different form of play but it feels more like Hey Kids, Engage™ With Your Favourite™ Brands™ compared to Can You Make A Monster Truck Out Of Sixteen Bricks, Three Wheels And A Potted Plant

I explained gundam wing to my husband like gundam for girls plus cheesy intrigue plots and massive space battles and late victorian fashion. He said that sounded amazing but I had to be the debbie downer and show him that no Gundam wing actually sucked a lot lol at least for a normie like him who doesn't like that cheesy nonesense

I have a few of these monstrosities but I've never actually bought one. The ones I have were given to me or I won in raffles and other BS. I don't care for them but apparently I have some rare ones so one day I will probably trade them for a biscuit or something when the economy collapses.
