in the 70s mcdonalds approached sid and marty krofft and said "hey how about making some freaky-rear end commercials for us, like we have this clown named ronald mcdonald and maybe we could put him in a crazy place called mcdonaldland with some of those loving weird walkaround puppets you guys make, how about a giant big mac as a cop or a cheeseburger mayor" and the kroffts said sure but then mcdonald's said "oops sorry looks like we decided not to make freaky-rear end commercials after all" and the kroffts said ok but mcdonald's made their own freaky-rear end commercials anyway with some of the people who worked for the kroffts
