I'll never forgive Rick Rude for making me - a fat, out of shape sweathog - keep the noise down so he could take off his robe and show the ladies what a real man looked like So I voted for the guy who definitely wasn't problematic about women: Scott Steiner!

Voted for Edge because I liked him and was sad his reign ended like that, and always wondered what might have been if he'd been able to make a comeback. Then I found out.

Young Giant was the greatest rookie until Kurt Angle. It's insane how ring ready he was from day one. Edit: also someone who peaked way too young so he'll never be a hall of fame because the entire next twenty years can't match his first three.

That Elimination Chamber was the one where Drew McIntyre had a breakout performance and then WWE proceeds to bury him until he leaves the company because he was the victim of domestic abuse from his then wife.

Erainor posted:Someone had written that the whole title change hurt Sheamus more than DB. I think that person is correct. They are. They had a match the following PPV that actually had a decent length and was a pretty good match from what I recall. If they had done that match at WM I don't think the backlash towards Sheamus would have been there at all. Bryan likely still would have eventually gotten over to the level that he did, but Sheamus absolutely wouldn't have been unfairly hated because of it.

The thing about Vince's booking is, on top of punishing those who weren't supposed to get over, he has no idea how to actually get someone he wants over and sabotaged them too

Bryan's run was really fun until the end. I don't remember anything about Batista's lengthy title run other than Triple H going, "You only beat me because you didn't get hit with the Pedigree! You are a coward for not being put in a position to receive my finisher!"
