There is clearly no rule. The rule is mods and IKs probe for it when they feel like it. That's what is loving stupid. Get rid of it and people who clutch their pearls when they see a bad word can go and play neopets or whatever. Everyone elsewhere on the forums seems to survive.

We probe for it when we see it. There is no oval office alarm that goes off in the GBS mod club house whenever that word is posted. We are all human here and do tend to miss stuff from time to time and when the thread goes on just fine with us occasionally not enforcing rules, I am ok with that.

Please, what am I missing here? You are saying sometimes a rule goes unenforced and nothing happens, therefore the rule is pointless, no?
