Official Catholic lore states that you can do whatever you give up for lent on Sundays. This knowledge comes directly from Grandmother who collected statues of the Virgin Mary, so it's legit. Also my pressure cooker died in the middle of making corned beef this week, but I finished it in a pot and it turned out pretty good anyway.
