Yeah there's no technical separation between avatars and gangtags in the title field, it's all just stacked img tags.

Yup. The only thing that matters for a gang tag or any other sub title image is that it is hosted on the SA servers. I just pulled up the old av image address from the server and pasted it in.

Today in random things I learned while doing writeup research: The Australian guy who knocked out Alexander Volkanovski back when he was fighting as a 5'6" welterweight was approached by Bellator for a contract and the UFC to be on the Australia vs UK season of TUF, but he was banned from traveling to America because he got into a drunken bar fight and his friend stole a guy's wallet and they all got charged with robbery.

It fails in every single metric you can use for judging individual or pair performances. The only reason it won't go on any all-time lists is that it's also a completely forgettable fight.
