Yeah this thread loves to talk about “good” “games” but I wanna hear more about thief simulator. It looks like weird pseudo-sim trash and there’s nothing I love more, but I haven’t been able to justify trying it. More games need to be about lovely, low stakes crime. Fromsoft is all out here with big bosses and some guy who eats poop that you can hit with a big sword to save like, bonfires or whatever. Other RPGs are like being in a superhero movie. More stuff where I have to smash the glass of a vending machine to steal candy bars to sell to kids at the park (or equivalent bullshit crimes.)

I’ve honestly been kind of cold on Vicky 3, it feels so samey between all countries and I don’t know if the bones are there to fix what bugs me about it without pulling a Stellaris “woops, we don’t know what we want this game to be” Anyway it’s fine, I’ve got some Imperator: Rome to catch up on

Everyone who’s vaguely interested should try the detective game maybe just a bit and then put it down until it’s less early access but please give the devs money so they make it the best game they can because even in its current early state it owns bones anyway thanks

My old dad really likes the Little Sweet Dr Pepper mascot and the only merch that exists of him I could find was a Funkopop and he loves it, so I dunno, maybe they’re a land of contrasts.

Full on destruction fireball mage in Skyrim with upped difficulty/difficulty mods kicks rear end because it turns into some bizarre high movement FPS but your guns suck. Morrowind magic really was great though.

It was stupid but so fun.

I forget the exact post and it’s probably for the best, but I remember when KF doxxing was a huge threat to a lot of goons. Of course until one of the concerned-about-KF goons immediately posted another users whole dox from there to win an argument, lol. It parallels the keffals thing, I guess. It always amazed me when a goon was like, “You don’t want to go to Kiwi farms, because [encyclopedic knowledge of specific threads there.]”

It’s not quite the same as consuming media at high speed but maybe worse: one time I watched a guy a row ahead of me on a transatlantic flight go through roughly half a dozen movies on the in flight entertainment and briefly read the description of each before watching 5-15 minutes toward the end/climax of it and switching movies.

I’m an insanely boring gamer who should like the dumb sterile base building and factory aspect of Starfield but even that is so pointless and stupid that it couldn’t keep me interested in the game. Like I’m the guy who spent way too long on my Fallout 4 towns and this was way worse by all measures.

I never understand people who are like “don’t bother pets.” Every pet I’ve bothered has been like “oh poo poo nice let’s loving GO” and then can immediately go back to sleep. Maybe if your pet is really old then yeah but other than that I’m gonna bother your fuckin pets and they’re gonna love me.
