W/r/t August Ames, there’s an Audible series he contributed to, and a book from her mother that he seemingly did not. That’s about as deep as I’m willing to look into that particular story, the homophobia involved is not something I’m keen to engage with and only adds to what is all-around tragic. Pineapple Support Society in part was formed because of that story, and that’s a positive change.
