I think I've figured it out. It's just a magic trick. Nobody can actually tie one in a knot with their tongue. Cherries are never served alone so there's usually going to be an extra stem you could grab and quickly tie under the table before secreting it in your mouth when you eat the next cherry. Then when time comes to do the trick you put the other stem in the other cheek and pull out the tied one. Do you know any magic tricks?
