You've apparently got some XCom in your randomizer seed because that remaining 10% hit. It does randomize them or at least it did in our LP.

unless they changed something or you chose a specific option the three mustifear checks are available immediately in the randomizer.

The rare frog coin unlocks the mushroom kingdom merchant, who'd give you the Frogfucious key item check in vanilla.

Oh joy, if I remember right the clock uses a lot of magic spells. And since the boss you fight scales its stats off the boss that was randomized out, that means a clock with stats similar to Valentia. On the plus side since he's got 2 bells compared to Valentia's single dodo the HP should be a bit lower.

Any time I saw anyone stream the randomizer I'm pretty sure the bright card is hard coded to stay with knife guy's juggling minigame in booster's tower.

Glad to see this back, I was considering prodding about it occasionally but thought it was willfully dead. Happy to be wrong.

And yes, poison damage compounds, up to 8x damage on the 8th and all future tics.

e: I wonder if Beyond Chaos just can't deal with Veteran's sprite, it was hosed up on liquidy and our playthroughs too.

Bit of a shorter update this time to balance out the last one, though it still ended up slightly longer than I was expecting.

Beyond Chaos lets you pick up dances even without a dancer or Mog's stand in in the party, meaning you don't get screwed out of water rondo if you snub him.
GBA gives you one single shot at getting it in the world of ruin.

Those are the only times I can think of possibly justifying dropping Mog, but even then I don't think I've ever done it.

e: cursed ring is the same gimmick as the cursed shield, except it eventually turns into a hero ring, which you can get so many other ways.

The shops won't sell anything until this point in the plot, the inn would still overcharge for the room until Strago is named.

I'd assume SandSto is just the Desert Aria Dance trigger or the dragon zombie type enemy attack, so reliable damage but nothing good enough to dedicate a space on a characters menu. (e: and then I saw what Megumi does)

Also, unless the randomizer shuffled it off, Flame Eater has MP = 0 death, so you could probably have just walked away and let it burn himself out.

Finally, I wonder if Triangle Island has a dedicated "lol,lmao" switch for Intangir or if we just got really lucky with his replacement.
