jkq posted:Ugh. I did something like that once on a seed with the dungeon levels randomized. I forgot to visit one of the staircases, and of course it eventually led to the Moebius Crest. I've done something similar when I was running through a SoulBlazer randomizer. I cleared out a monster portal in one of the dungeons but forgot to seal it before moving on. By the end of the game I was missing a few items but otherwise had everything required to fight the final boss' final form except for the Phoenix spell. No points for correctly guessing what I needed to do in order to start the chain of events that would unlock the Phoenix.
