It says the only older images they're removing are ones that weren't posted by people with accounts, which is loving stupid because Imgur accounts in general are stupid. I wondered if Imgur might try some poo poo like this when they started requiring users to have an account to be able to upload anything a few weeks ago.

i'm fairly sure i was present in the reddit thread where the creator of imgur was like "gently caress its i'm creating my own image hosting website" and they went and made imgur. so i'm pretty sure there is already the equivalent pissed off reddit comment from the eventual creator of the next one. same river different river etc
