I really enjoyed the books, but I'm going to tentatively say the show actually improves upon them so far. I have almost zero complaints and in many cases I care more about the characters than I did in the books. It shouldn't matter, but I wish Rebecca Ferguson's American accent was better, or they just wrote her as... honestly I don't know what her natural accent is, but that. Her attempt to sound American sounds like an American failing at an Irish accent sometimes.

I'm enjoying reading you guys try to figure it out, hah. I intentionally didn't reread the books so it was relatively fresh but it's coming back to me as I read your theories.
