Thought I was going to bounce off this in chapter 2 after getting repeatedly owned on some levels but I’ve found a build that loving rocks and I feel invincible until I run up against some boss with a horrible gimmick I guess.

Similar thing happened to me. I was starting to despair in chapter 3, even simple fights against ACs were grueling and I never felt like I could dodge well enough or do enough damage. Then I tried some different legs and weapons and it flipped to being easy, and essentially that same build carried me through to NG+

finished the fires path. Last boss was pretty tough, and I honestly feel like I just got lucky. It helped when I learned to trust the lock-on instead of trying to aim myself. Badass fight overall

fuuuuuck chapter 5 on th ayre route was so cool, the fights against rad and walter basically 100% kicked rear end. there was a minute where i thought balteus would be the last boss too lmfao, glad he wasnt but that would have been pretty funny. fuckin fantastic game, gonna go look up the stuff i missed

When I finally tried out the zimmermans I was like "ohhhhh". I think the Haldemans are properly tuned though and the Zimmermans might need a bit of a nerf. I cleared a lot of NG+ with double Haldemans without too much issue.

Beat NG++ which I'd say was cool and different enough to be worth doing. Very cool game, sad that its over, I hope they make another one. NG++ ending was quite mysterious.... ANyway here's my Las Plagas / Cronenberg themed PARASITE AC. Looks better when you can spin it around and definitely needs some gross vein and eyeball decals. Carla's AC body is particularly good at looking like a giant gross organ when you color and luster it right.

Whaddup gamers. Just spent like 45 minutes figuring out how to put money in a PS3 wallet so I could download Armored Core 1 PS classic. I think I played AC2 for like an hour 5 years ago and otherwise haven't played these games. Gonna check em all out and eventually play 6.

Feel like I'm dug into an inescapable hole of debt already. I bought a pair of legs that I couldn't actually install bc of weight problems, and then once I started losing missions I cant really do poo poo about it. Can't upgrade anything, can't go back and do easier missions for creds, and failing seems to be progressing the story anyway I guess? Weird game maybe I'll just be dying in my chump gear all the way to the finale while I stack up -2,000,000 Creds.

Without spoiling too much I have no idea what you're talking about lol. I didn't even know negative credits were a thing. You can always replay missions to get enough money to afford anything but it's not necessary at all.

This is AC1. I eventually realized that you can sell back parts for their full sell price so your credits are more like swapping in and out pieces for certain missions. Game makes a lot more sense and starting to get some more mission variety. I have no clue how to square off against any fast MTs though, feels like this game desperately needs a 180 button.

the last mission in this game is like a 15 minute climb up an enormous shaft filled with small moving platforms and about 20 security guns that will peck you off. After I finally emerged you fall into an empty enormous shaft while the final boss peppers you from 400 yards away with laser weapons. I don't think I have the stomach to ever attempt this level again lol
