when move into partners i’m no longer gonna have a 40” tv as a monitor but will have to get a real 20 something inch monitor and seems like the time to move to 4k or whatever rez is hype right now

i paid $400 for some no-name 42" 4k tv and i use it as an external monitor and i couldn't be happier.

I edit photos so prob colours but also i’ve currently been doing it on a sorny tv so anything will be a step up

people seem to get addicted to refresh rate and I don’t know if I want that

I suppose higher than 1920x1080 rez?

now you got me re-examining all of my life decisions

ime theres diminishing returns once you get over around 110 dpi
