Oh hell yeah, I'm in for this. I just finished tearing down and rebuilding an 06 sti. Not my car but I bet the owner would come off leftover parts cheap, let me know if there's any stock STI engine bits you want. Also done a ton of work on factory five cobras. Never messed with an 818 but they look like awesome cars.

Afaik I'd give it a full mid engine rwd. It's not transaxle so no 911 / Ariel etc all on the rear tires.
