I get it, capitalism bad and strike for rights, but it seems like there are more episodes to write than ever? There's also a rising trend of things called mini-rooms where studios hire a small handful of writers for maybe a month or two to smash out a rough draft, then fire everyone but the show runner who then finishes the script. Having to job hunt every two months isn't a secure way to make a living.
