How "direct sequel"-y is it? I never did get around to finishing Breath of the Wild (my gaming attention span is not enormous), am I going to be lost jumping in or is it pretty standalone?

I get worrying about this kind of thing with a lot of games, but Zelda? Look, yeah, I know, my brain is just a pain in the loving rear end sometimes and I need someone to confirm it explicitly otherwise I'll pressure myself to finish BotW first, burn out and then play neither.
