I try to strive for only reading long-form content. If something is short-form, like a forum thread, I liked to wait until there are a few pages of posts before looking at it. This helps to keep me from feeling soupy/fuzzy/whatever from constantly trying to figure out what the thing I'm reading is about. Also, instead of trying to divide entire websites into "good" or "bad", I try to focus on if the thing I want to go do is "good" or "bad" and then if it is bad I won't do it. But mostly I ignore my own advice and suffer.
