I think anyone that has actual knowledge of tech fall into one of two camps: - people fellating "AI" as the cure-all to everything, especially those nasty arty fucks who take their women, and the terrible experience of "socialising" - people who think the first group are dumb as gently caress and worry about the mess they'll make before they realise how dumb they are or at least backtrack out of self preservation I'm pretty sure I've heard this exact "AI" revolution thing every few years since the 90s (when I was born) and a cursory look and a bit of knowledge usually results in a disappointing sigh. We don't have actual AI. We aren't closer to that than a fully established and self sufficient colony on the moon.
