Season one felt like a bet you couldn’t make a wholesome comedy (today), materialized. I enjoyed it as a simple family friendly thing. Been downhill since, and this season is nearly unwatchable Flowers for QAnon fucked around with this message at 21:10 on May 23, 2023 |

Severance is awesome. Buuuut it probably should have just been a miniseries because it feels like just one more episode would have told a complete story. Still highly recommended. It starts out okay. The final three episodes are some of the best TV I’ve ever watched.

Maybe it's cuz it didn't have Christina Ricci in it but I wasn't super fond of Severance. It was OK. Reminded me of a lot of other stuff I'd rather watch & felt derivative of Michel Gondry / Charlie Kaufman type stuff.

The other thing is the show acts like British people are super rude and Americans are super nice but the reality and cliche is the exact opposite. British people are superficially super nice and nonconfrontational and Americans are super confrontational and passive aggresive.

The Big Door Prize is a smidge better than Lasso, as the episodes are mercifully only half an hour and the occasional joke sneaks in. Schmigadoon! is unwatchable but thankfully the household agreed on that after two episodes. Like Keegan-Michael Key was trying to outdo Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone in wasting the time of an audience.
