I came up with the rings of power BS so I could use at least one giant Gollum and explain it as a power-up. Also mentioned disguises in the back text to explain the different outfits in the pictures. The graphics are closer to a 32-bit game than anything the Genesis could produce, especially with the dynamic lighting, but I thought the subject matter spoke to the controversies Sega was leaning into at the time so I rolled with them.
