I just hit level 60 and I did a level 20 Nightmare Dungeon on my Firewall Sorceress

This game is really fun & most of the bad reviews make me 'lol'

Come to think of it, I'm not really sure when the ideal time to actually do the side quests is! You get to level 50 just fine from doing the campaign itself, no side quests, and the rewards never scale up so you might bang out a side quest at level 100 and your reward is 1x basic leather (common)

And I guess with the paragon points locked behind 'em, the open world exploration/side quests are a "there is no right or wrong time to do them and there are rewards relevant to any power progression at any point in the game"

That's like... a GOOD thing? I have Bungie Stockholm Syndrome (destiny 2 player) so my brain is trying to reject this possibility of benevolent game design

I'm so glad I played the game without reading the tiers first or I wouldn't have been able to stomp wt4 as a firewall sorc

Much like how wile e coyote couldn't fall to his death until he looked down, my sorc is an end game slaya until I heard she was actually bad

Not least of all because you'd need to compare their strength at 0 paragon points, 50, 100, etc, all of which could be considered 'endgame' and all of which are gonna have wildly different rankings

Yeah I like to let smarter / less employed people crunch all the numbers and figure out the optimal paragon board pathing etc but I still pick the build that sounds the most funnest

Firewall Sorc is getting a little stale but it looks like they absolutely do NOT want you to have multiple builds, so switching it up is really out of the question

Hopeful that I can roll a zBarb or support monk type of character. It was insane how deep you could push in the GRifts even as a duo

I know all the classes have 'some' degree of contributing to the group but I wanna like, hard CC and corral huge mobs while making my buddies do a bajillion % extra damage and heal to full every 0.069s

Ignore any clickbait article about how diablo players are FURIOUS that their seasonal characters are deleted every 3 months

But also prepare yourself because that may as well be true lol

Pretty rare to go visit your eternal characters on the farm when seasons tend to be 1,000,000% more exciting

If I want to play Hardcore for season 1 do I have to find all the shrines, discover the map, and/or beat the campaign?

They said respec has two pain points

- The gold cost, which they are alleviating with an item earned toward the end of the (season/season journey, i forget which) which waives the gold cost for resetting all skills and paragon points

- The tedious nature of resetting your skills and paragon points, which is on their radar for making more pleasant at some point in the future one day probably maybe
