Got it! The link doesn’t like me but I decided to go for it anyway with the ol’ username. For what it’s worth, Venmo sending fees are 0% for bank OR debit card (https://venmo.com/resources/our-fees/), but yeah, credit cards do normally have fees. That said, a “business profile” recipient will pay 1.9%+$0.10, which I am sure is where the quoted % comes from: https://help.venmo.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500003204302-Business-Profile-Transaction-Fees- … but it also notes “It’s worth noting that Venmo users who make a payment to a business profile using a credit card will be exempt from the standard 3% Venmo fee on payments funded by credit cards.” The same fees apply for if/when you update to becoming a Charity on Venmo as well  (https://help.venmo.com/hc/en-us/articles/9750561812115-Charity-Profile-Donation-Fees). Still, using a credit card for such things seems like a Bad Idea to me, so I won’t recommend it. Just thought I’d clear that up.
