It boggles my mind that 29% of democrats are tuned out enough that they’re not sure enough about this DeSantis fellow to say they view him unfavorably.

To be fair as long as Trump is in the race the only message that is going to win the GOP nomination is “I am Donald Trump.” He more or less has the incumbency advantage in a unique way. If we want to be… charitable I guess? it’s possible that a large part of him pushing the “stolen election” narrative was as much to do about maintaining that advantage as it was actually trying to reverse anything. I’m not sure I would go that far, but it’s an interesting thought.
