Got everything set up for our traditional group of guests to arrive, one in his Blue Bombers jersey. My partner is a TiCats fan but used to have rules: root for the East unless Argos (for obvious reasons) or Als. Her dislike of the Alouettes derives from when she worked at McGill athletics when they first started playing at Molson Stadium and the management group were assholes. However, time has apparently healed this wound as she has declared for Montreal this year. (Probably mostly to give the gears to our mostly Calgary/West guest list, she's a serious sports fan). Me, I'm for good games. As a new Canadian I have little loyalty towards the CFL other than thinking its a more dynamic game than found down south. But mostly, as a kid I grew up a Lions fan, and nothing can kill one's enthusiasm for football quite like being a Lions fan.
