I was playing Etrian Odyssey 4 on my 3ds while I was taking the bus to work, but started working from home. I was have a lot of fun with it and now you are making me want to get back to it. I'll probably just watch you two instead. Oh, and you have episode 5 twice.

Grimrock's a good LP. It's probably my most rewatched of Dan's. But I also love dungeon crawlers, to play and watch, so I'm getting really into this as well.

The past few episodes have been too boring. Dan isn't being incompetent enough and letting people die. I want a refund! I guess it's balanced out a little by the implied story of younger Dan falling into a pit several times.

Sooner or later, everyone hits that moment where they get cornered by an FOE and have to fight their way out because they forgot an Ariadne Thread. Except in Persona Q/Persona Q2, where the characters never shut up if you try to go into a dungeon without one.

Salve is basically Cure I that hits the entire party. At equal levels, it costs only marginally more but is pretty close to equally effective.

I had a long project for work so when it came up I started listening to it in the background. It’s so long. I don’t understand how that game can go on so long. And every chapter added new towns worth so much that nothing mattered from the previous chapters! That game is insane, and I strongly believe that they’re the only people to ever play that mode start to finish.

The game came out when I was in college and a few of my friends actually did finish a regular run. It took them about half a semester of fairly regular play, if memory serves; something like 60 hours of gameplay.

I picked up EO3's switch release to scratch the same itch that games like SMT and early Personas did and I've been on the fence about the earlier two. Going to get caught up on the madness that Dan's uploading to see if it sways me one way or another.

Oh I absolutely remember the ultimate Wheel of Fortune win. At the time I thought it must have been luck, there's no way he could have managed to calculate that with the randomness of the wheel, right? But now I'm not so sure.
