i dont eat the shell but if its one of the tough single peanut shells that doesnt want to open i bite it open. i do the same for pistachios that are mostly closed and i cant get a good grip on em to rip em open. having bit many nut shells peanut is the most tastey but the wierd plant vein thing they have is gross.

I feed the crows shelled peanuts and even they pull them out of the shell. So basically what you're telling me when you eat shelled peanuts is that crows are smarter than you.

I eat peanut shells and sunflower seed shells. That's where the flavor lives, but you need to eat them in small quantities at a time, like, you can't just pop multiple full peanuts/sunflower seeds in your mouth at once, because it becomes a big fibrous mess that's inedible.
