4K gaming is dumb and bad that said VR gaming is cool and good despite rendering somewhere around 6K but on flat theres no need to render beyond 2k on a 27" monitor i paid a ludicrous amount of money on the 3080 because its the absolute minimum for VR imo but elden ring @ 2k with max settings is gorgeous buy the car first

mine is 10 years old and i think i have to rebuild. like the motherboard doesn't accept any of the newfangled ssds that plug in directly to it (didn't know this was a thing??) and RAM and everything else it's still barely running diablo iv okay but 4gb of ram isn't really cutting it anymore

Seems like they mostly make their money selling peripherals and software subscriptions that you don't need and don't have to buy so maybe check them out?  IDK I got mine from a friend who's a computer hardware journalist and gets parts sent to him for free to review.
