I don't drink anymore but it used to piss me off when I'd order a gimlet and would get served some vodka monstrosity. It was a gin drink first; vodka drinkers should be the ones who have to specify they want a vodka gimlet!

 except I stay away from gin now bc it gives me flashbacks to the awful memories of hurling christmas trees and the following hungover day being a human essential oil diffuser In general now I hit beers instead and am a bit rounder for it, but it's easier to gauge where I'm at and pace myself than liquor
