When you have a supporting cast of 3 exceptionally good players who outscore the next closest Devil, you are by definition not carrying the team more than Tay Tay. Colorado had a +20 goal diff that year, and was making the playoffs again the next year. This was the first devils playoffs appearance as a wildcard since losing to the Kings in the SCF as well.
