the dream for me is each division having a yearly tournament evenly spaced throughout the year with the winner getting millions of bucks and also the home city of the champion getting to host the final round of that tournament in the next year I think the UFC would probably put the welterweight and heavyweight tournament finals for their NYE show, the LHW / LW during the superbowl show, etc having predictable shows and fight rotations would allow predictable rankings and healthier lives for their fighters, and would make them buckets of money because they could lock in their deals with venues well in advance and do all the local marketing well in advance to sell out the undercards on the tournament - like early prelims, could be eliminator fights to get access to the future tournaments etc just killing time at work sorry for effort posting something that will never happen because of power slap
