Taki is interesting to me because she probably got the least development out of the maigos but I think she's also genuinely just the kind of person who matures slowly? Like for as exciting as a confession scene would be, I also thought that her thing with Tomori was a very realistic & resonant portrayal of the kind of relationship that ends up going absolutely nowhere. In that light I'm actually (fortunately?) more interested in seeing the Taki & Umiri dynamic explored more. For all that Umiri has her ducks in a row her expressing jealousy over Taki finding a band while being a drifting mercenary herself hints at an emotional unfulfillment, and I find it very conspicuous that she goes from "I play in 30 bands" to a lifelong commitment on a deal with the devil the moment Taki finds a place to belong. I'd like to see how Taki would react to finding out there's this whole other dimension to their very particular friendship. I'm so excited for Ave Mujica. I might feel iffy about a focus shift from the band I love to another set of characters except I love all 5 of them and their ridiculous theatrics too

After watching the final episode of MyGO I'm with Mutsumi, Sakiko is within a hair's breadth of completely falling apart. And related to that I'm super pumped to see what happens then. Maybe she'll finally accept Tomori's Notebook...

The MyGO album was released onto the streaming services yesterday. Pretty good stuff, and so far as I know the album is the first time we got a clean version of Haruhikage (sorry sOyo).

Yup, first clean version of Haruhikage though it's specifically the MyGO version - maybe in the future we'll get a release of the CRYCHIC version? Tomorrow (well, today since it's past midnight) is also MyGO's next live performance irl and I fully expect Haruhikage to be performed there. I'll be there in person but a paid stream with archive is also available!

There's a discord server I'm in where four guys get very mad at the mention of mygo because they're the only ones that don't like the show (because they don't like drama in their cute girls doing cute things franchise or something) and the guy who runs the server banned discussion of it because there were arguments every week it was airing
