I havent watched it but thats what 2 minutes of googling tells me. The general sentiment among people who like it is "yeah, it's incredible, but shame the author is a pedophile!"

I watched the anime until it got to hosed up stuff, I knew nothing about it going in, and yeah, a lot of it's really good. It's just also an obvious trojan horse for the creators fetishes.
